Russia is proud to announce the 9th BRICS Young Scientist Forum and the 7th BRICS Young Innovator Prize, taking place on November 25-29, 2024 in the city of Sochi under the Russian chairmanship in BRICS.
The events are designed to unite young scientists and innovators from the BRICS countries, including the newly joint states. The Young Scientist Forum is a platform for promoting connections among researchers and scientists from the BRICS countries. Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in discussions and explore best practices in scientific research. The thematic areas for the 9th Forum are:
- Nature-like and Convergent Technologies as drivers for sustainable future;
- Environmental and Climate Technologies;
- Digital Humanities;
- Artificial Intelligence.
The 7th BRICS Young Innovator Prize will recognize the contributions of young entrepreneurs and researchers whose groundbreaking innovations have the potential to create a lasting impact on social, economic and environmental conditions within BRICS societies. The 7th BRICS Young Innovator Prize will focus on:
- Green technologies for chemical industry;
- Green technologies for food industry;
- Green technologies for agricultural industry;
- Artificial Intelligence;
- a special nomination for “Palladium for future technologies”.
This year the Forum and the Prize are organized alongside the IV Young Scientists Congress scheduled on 27-29 November 2024 in the SIRIUS University.
