Since 2013 – PhD student at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
2011 -2013 – was working as an international project manager at the Russian National Contact Point “Biotechnology” (INBI RAS)
Since 2013 – is an expert of the International Centre for innovation in Science, Technology and Education.

Ms Maria Balashova has an expertise in international public relations, diplomacy, international S&T&I cooperation. She was actively involved in FP7 projects aimed at promotion of the S&T cooperation with Russia among EU-MS stakeholders. She carries out analytical work in field of international S&T cooperation. Takes part in the organization of joint S&T projects within Russian Federal Target Program «Research and development in Priority Fields of the S&T Complex of Russia 2014-2020».
