2016 marks the anniversary of the scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and France. Countries are combined through many years of fruitful science and technology cooperation, which began with the official visit of the French President Charles de Gaulle to the USSR in 1966, aimed to establish bilateral dialogue.

The organizers of the Year of Science are the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Russian Federation Embassy in the French Republic and the French Embassy in Moscow. ICISTE provides administrative and informational support during the “50 years”.
